Day One: Consecration, Holiness, and Purification
Consecration
Consecration is the act of setting something apart for the worship or service of God. It involves dedicating oneself afresh to the Lord and His work. It's a personal commitment to align one's life with God's purposes and interests. Consecration is associated with holiness, purity, and sanctification.
Consecration is not a one time thing but a process that deepens as we grow in intimacy with the Lord.
Exodus 19:10
Then the LORD said to Moses , “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.
Hebrews 11:17–19 - Describes how to be set apart by trusting and obeying God no matter the circumstances.
Hebrews 12:1-2 - Encourages us to offer our bodies daily to the Lord as a living sacrifice.

Holiness
God's people should be holy by being set apart from sin and living by God's standards. This means living a set apart life, studying the Bible, and walking in obedience to the Word.
1 Peter 1:15-16 - “but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, 'Be holy, for I am holy.'”

Purification
Purification is the process of becoming pure in all areas of our life including heart, mind, and motive. We purify ourselves by filling our minds and hearts with God’s word.
Psalms 119:11 - “Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.”
Psalms 119:8 - “How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.”
Matthew 5:8 - “Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.”
